裏面には「行啓記念」とあり、その文字の向きから昭和初期以前のものでしょう。
高台内には「NY」の文字。
行啓とは三后（太皇太后、皇太后、皇后）または皇太子、皇太子妃、皇太孫の外出を指す語で、菊の意匠も皇室がイメージされていることがうかがい知れます。
