長い手足を活かしたポーズや、豊かな表情の表現は見事、そしてなんともユーモラスなのです。
淡い色合いの釉薬が掛かるのみのですが、くぼんだ箇所に経年の汚れが付着したようすはまるで影のようで、より立体的に見えます。
蓋置の生まれでしょうか。
無銘ながら京焼か、その流れを汲むやきものと思われます。
